Leicester City Dare to Dream, Again

There's a growing buzz around the 2019-20 version of Leicester City.

On the run to the most unlikely title win in Premier League history, Claudio Ranieri dared and encouraged Leicester fans to dream.

Back in the top three places on the table, Leicester is again winning games and admirers.

But manager Brendan Rodgers, while not the anti-Ranieri, is being a little more circumspect:

We had a very good start, some really good performances, different types of wins that we've had, and we're just constantly looking to improve. Then, with 10 games to go, let's see where we are.

Only seven players with at least one Premier League appearance in 2015-16 are still with Leicester, and only Kasper Schmeichel and Jamie Vardy are guaranteed starters.

Similar to 2015-16, Schmeichel is a colossus between the posts and Vardy is at his sharpest and best with 10 Premier League goals.

So it is little wonder, there is a growing buzz around the 2019-20 version of Leicester City.

Seven wins has got Leicester to third on the table and while Brendan Rodgers is not daring the fans to dream, they maybe can start to wonder.

As long as there's green grass and the posts, it doesn't matter where the game is. We will go there to win.
